Lost Continent by Bill Bryson (1989). This is the second book I read of this author and it is about two trips across the US. The first trip covers the middle-west, the south, the Atlantic and New England. The second trip covers the midwest and the west. The author visited 38 states and he kept a detailed account of his adventure. Bryson has a really pleasant writing style; this book is +300 pages long but within a week I finished it. I would greatly recommend it to anyone. Reading this book is like going on a road trip with a person that you just met. As the trip goes on you two share time and experiences and have fun together. You two share and enjoy every detail, like food and drinks. At the end of the trip you feel at ease with this travel mate. It is a really fun reading.
