The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg (2012). I had to return this book to the library, so I read only about 50% of it. Nice story and good characters. So, after a failed attempt to rob a bank, this lady goes back to the nursing home and convinces her friends to commit a series of felonies. The big motivation for this was to get to go to prison, as they believe life in Swedish prisons is preferable to their current life in the nursing home.
Then the eldery lady and her friends go on and carefully plan a robbery in a famous hotel. They managed to break into the hotel safe and then drug the guests to steal their several valuables. After their success, the next thing they do is steal some expensive paintings (actually they say they kidnap the paintings) and then they demand ransom money to return the paintings. Meanwhile, they are having a good time sharing their loot although they are still unable to get caught to go to prison. This is all I read. Not bad, but I think I will just move on and find something really exciting to read.
