The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest by Stieg Larsson

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest by Stieg Larsson (2007). Last night I suddenly decided to close this book with the purpose of luring my mind into finishing it on the next day. Then on this Sunday morning  I jumped out of bed as struck by lightning and rushed to read the last chapter I had left of this book.

In the last chapter, wonder-Lisbeth-lady goes to the old building that had belonged to her father and unexpectedly she had to face a last fight against her half-brother, her nemesis, superhuman blond giant and genetically-insensitive-to-pain Niedermann . She managed to dominate him and used a nail gun to nail him to a wooden cabinet. She didn’t kill him. Instead, she tipped off Niedermann’s gang and let them finish Niedermann. From the distance and hidden in the darkness, she calmly observes the drama with a malicious smile while sipping a warm cup of coffee. This is a superb work of an imaginative mind. Larsson passed away before this book had seen the light of day.
